They are also known as Gravity Damper or Check Damper Valves They are used for the applications where the reverse flow is not allowed. They are Uni-Directional, opened by the flow pressure and closed by the gravity and Self weight of Flap. Different Sealing materials are used to achieve leak tightness as per application requirement. Flowing media can be hot Flue Gases, Hot Air, Atmospheric Air etc. Having Design temperature from -25 Deg. C to 825 Deg. C. They are mainly designed for Ventilation systems.
